Enabling Policy Environments for Entrepreneurship in Africa

This participatory event will focus on policies to reduce barriers to entry and create improved business environments in Africa. With the help of public and private sector experts, officials and entrepreneurs from Nigeria, South Africa, Cote d’Ivoir, and Kenya will be invited to work in teams to identify and discuss the most solutions to improve the business climate. The most promising ideas will be presented to a panel of experts and an external audience for feedback. Following the event, there will be a process to identify interested entrepreneurs as ‘Entrepreneurs in Residence,’ working with U.S. Embassies and local government officials to provide ongoing advice on key policy in their countries.
