Managing Director, The Abraaj Group
Pradeep Ramamurthy is a managing director and head of Global Markets – Americas at The Abraaj Group.
Prior to joining Abraaj, Pradeep held a series of senior positions across the U.S. Government. He served under two U.S. presidents at the White House where he was the first-ever Senior Director for Global Engagement. Subsequently, he served as the deputy counselor to the USAID Administrator where he led the creation of a new division focused on development innovation and oversaw the Agency's multi-billion dollar portfolio of public-private partnerships. Earlier in his career, Pradeep served in several roles within the U.S. intelligence community.
Pradeep has a B.Sc. in International Politics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a M.A. from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the Impact Investing and Redefining Development Finance working groups of the World Economic Forum.
