Andreas Zeller co-founded Open Capital Advisors in 2010 and has led dozens of engagements for high-potential businesses, investors, development partners, and the public sector in Africa. Open Capital is now a team of 36 professionals across three offices in East and Southern Africa and has worked with over 150 clients.
Prior to Open Capital, Andreas began his career at a start-up technology venture, for which he managed operations and capital raising efforts. Andreas then entered investment banking, working first with Citigroup in New York and London.
Andreas left Credit Suisse to join the infrastructure investment team at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), first in Washington, D.C. then in Nairobi, Kenya. At IFC, Andreas was responsible for analyzing, structuring and executing private equity investments across Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.
