Nina Vaca is the Chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Group, one of the largest IT services firms in the country.

Throughout her entrepreneurial career, Ms. Vaca has been recognized by some of the nation’s most respected companies and organizations. Most notably, she was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Technology and Communications and Goldman Sachs named her one of the Most Intriguining Entrepreneurs in the country.

In 2013, NBCLatino named her one of 20 “Innovators” for her work and leadership. For five consecutive years, Latino Leaders Magazine has named her one of the “101 Most Influential Latinos.” 

Ms. Vaca has appeared on CNBC Squawk Box, FOX News, CBS Evening News and in Fast Company Magazine as one of the Top 25 Women Business Builders in America. She has also been featured in numerous magazines both domestically and internationally, including Forbes, Kiplinger, Entrepreneur, Latino Leaders, Vanidades, Ali, HISPANIC and KERA CEO Review.

Her story opens the Entrepreneur chapter of Understanding Business, a McGraw Hill textbook used for teaching entrepreneurship at universities today.

In addition to her role at Pinnacle, she is the Chairman Emeritus of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, an organization that advocates and promotes more than 3 million Hispanic businesses across the country. Previously, Ms. Vaca served as Chairman of the USHCC. 

She is also on the corporate boards of Comerica Bank and Kohl’s Corporation. She is also a founding board member of Startup America Partnership, a White House-sponsored initiative to foster small business growth around the country.

Ms. Vaca is a graduate and distinguished alumna of Texas State University. She has been awarded honorary doctorates from Northwood University, Mount Mary College and Berkeley College.
