Herb serves as the Americas Leader of Strategic Growth Markets, (SGM) for EY--the world leader in advising, guiding and recognizing entrepreneurs.
SGM is a global network of professionals advising the full spectrum of dynamic, fast-moving and ground-breaking companies around the world which include:
-Venture capital backed/private equity portfolio companies
-Large private and family enterprises
-IPO-bound companies
-Public companies represented on the Russell 3000 and 2000 indexes
Herb has in-depth knowledge of the needs and complex issues of companies experiencing rapid growth. A Partner in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, Herb brings more than 20 years of experience in both public accounting and the private sector to his role. Throughout his career, he has led a variety of transactions, including private and public debt and equity offerings, initial public offerings and mergers & acquisitions.
He is passionate about entrepreneurs and is actively involved with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Endeavor and The Kauffman Foundation.
