Nicole Amarteifio is among several other highly acclaimed entrepreneurs cited in The Financial Times "Top 25 Africans to Watch" list, after a successful launch of the hit web series 'An African City.' The show hit 1 million views within the first several weeks of its release and, therefore, is considered one of Ghana's most successful YouTube channels. Nicole is currently pursuing TV projects full time, after a successful career in international development where she worked on policies such as the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) at The Whitaker Group. She is most known for her time as the first ever social media strategist for the Africa Region at The World Bank. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in African Studies from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, and received a Master of Professional Studies in Corporate Communications/Public Relations from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She was born and currently resides in Accra, Ghana.
