She’s the Chairwoman of Doğan Online, a leading internet company with a strong and diverse portfolio of e-commerce businesses. As a pioneer of digital and online in Turkey, she founded and has led hepsiburada.com to become the biggest online retailer in the EEMEA region. Beyond her entrepreneurial accomplishments, Ms. Doğan Boyner has vast experience in leading established Turkish companies in media and energy. Ms. Doğan-Boyner is currently the Chairwoman of Aydın Doğan Foundation, which oversees Doğan Group’s philanthropic activities. She has established and continues to lead the award-winning and government backed “Dad Send Me To School” campaign that aims to eliminate economic and cultural barriers in young female education across Turkey. Ms. Doğan Boyner is the founding member and Vice Chairwoman of Global Relations Forum, serves as the Vice President of World Association of Newspapers and is a member of the Brookings Institute Board of Trustees. She’s also a member of Columbia Business School Board of Overseers where she received her MBA.
