Two years after the earthquake in Haiti, Dara realized the extreme supply chain challenges and was motivated to tackle these, starting with 3D printing as a way of addressing immediate needs. Subsequently, she co-founded Field Ready, an NGO that focuses on manufacturing humanitarian supplies.

Sangu graduated from Harvard with highest honors in African Studies and Economics. At Harvard, he co-founded cleanacwa in 2007, which today is working to bring clean water to over 100,000 people in 120 villages in Ghana.
