CEO, ConnectME

Randa Masri is the founder and CEO of ConnectME. Established as a social enterprise, ConnectME supports the development of sustainable economic opportunities in Palestine and the broader MENA region, as a means of promoting fair and equal societies.  Her work focuses on increasing economic initiatives by leveraging public-private partnerships to support communities in MENA, empower youth and women to develop local entrepreneurship ecosystem.  

Masri previously served as a Franklin Fellow at the Department of State during 2014-2015.  She was an Adviser on Entrepreneurship in the MENA region, participating as a core team member organizing the 2014 Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in Marrakesh, Morocco.  Before joining DOS, Randa implemented the inaugural Palestine StartUP cup competition, to empower local startups and grow local mentoring culture in Palestine.  Prior to establishing ConnectME, Randa provided consultation services to numerous notable projects that target economic development, including Middle East Investment Initiative’s (MEII) Loan Guarantee program  (LGF); the U.S. State Department’s Palestinian ICT Initiative (PITI).
Randa is a board member of Our Generation Speak (OGS), a non-profit organization involved in building a shared future for Israelis and Palestinians, through entrepreneurship.
