Eric Ortner is an Appointee of President Obama to the President’s Committee on the Arts and
the Humanities and the Principal Partner of The Ortner Group, where he is a Producer and talent Manager. 

He was a key advisor and strategist for the Obama re-­‐election campaign in 2012, and is currently the chair of the Entertainment Advisory Council to the White House Office of Public Engagement & The Executive Office of The President. Mr. Orner is also a Board Member for The Global Poverty Project, the leading NGO for the U.N. 2030 goals to eradicate extreme global poverty, and Executive Produces The Global Citizen Festivals.

His management client roster  includes global leaders, CEOs, on-­‐air personalities, multi-­‐national brands, journalists, and content producers. His producing projects include film & television events, documentaries, and cause related content. He has previously served as a
Senior Producer for ABC News "Good Morning America", "20/20", “Primetime" and non-­‐scripted programming.

Mr. Ortner was also a Producer for NBC News and the “Today” show, and an editorial executive
at CBS. He served as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician in New York, and received
commendations for his service during the attacks on The World Trade Center on September
11, 2001.
